Phase model

       

The BI Application Management BIX Consulting is carried out in several phases, which can be carried out one after the other, but also individually. First, a review of the BI landscape is made, which provides information about the system environment, the implemented applications, the degree of utilization, the performance and numerous other parameters. This overview, which is generated systematically and with tool support, serves as a starting point for agreeing on the further procedure and the services to be obtained, but is also the basis for any optimizations or adjustments to the system.
The application landscape is also operated with the help of proven tools to ensure complete monitoring and the associated high system availability. Together with you our service specialists are informed about the status of the applications and systems at any time via pre-defined or specific analyzes and are alerted to deviations from defined target values.

The biX phase model

  • Review - Assessment of the BI systems to determine the infrastructure, the applications, the performance parameters and the relevant key figures to prepare an offer and the service contract
  • Initial workshop - in this workshop the most important aspects of the project framework, the project goals, the time planning and milestones, the success measurement and the communication channels and means are discussed and coordinated with all participants
  • Transition - all requirements for the migration of operations are discussed and documented by consulting experts from biX Consulting with the client. A service catalog is created, the processes coordinated, the necessary knowledge imparted and the handover of the company prepared
  • Transfer of business - in this phase the acceptance of the transition project and the creation of the operating manual as well as the gradual transfer of the business to biX Consulting take place
  • Operation - based on ITIL standards and the previous phases, incident and problem management processes are continuously improved. The focus is on relieving the burden on the company organization and ensuring the availability of the applications. As part of regular follow-up reviews, the effort incurred is compared with the original plans and agreements and documented, and the service catalog is adjusted if necessary. As part of a continuous improvement process, the services and processes as well as communication with the client are continuously optimized in order to permanently achieve high customer and user satisfaction and to sustainably increase profitability and productivity.
